I am Amber "Nampeung". A dreamer in the 'midst of discovering lucidity. Always looking for folks to [collaborate with me].

B i o[edit | edit source]

Amber "Nampeung" is one of those lucky to be caught in the spaces between -- in this case -- the United States and Thailand. Living and working in the Northern Thai town of Chiang Rai, she spends her free days finding the beauty in small re-appropriated things. Trash cans made out of tires, Dust bins made out of latex tins, even incense holders out of cola cans. Her work days are filled finding ways to promote Izara Arts , one of the four World Fair Trade Organization - Asia certified groups in Thailand , and the incredible Hilltribe handicrafts that they create.

She hopes to splay stories of sustainability in Thai monastaries across Appropedia pages, in addition to the occasional visual/wordy flirtation with sustainably-produced/fashion-bound weaves.

Welcome[edit source]

Hello Nampeung,

Welcome to Appropedia. If you are who I think you are - เยี่ยม, ฉลาดเฉลียว, งดงาม, talented and, for all practical purposes, part of my family - than double welcome mi hermana. If you are that said sorceress, I thought it would be good to mention that we are always looking for translations of pages. So if you are so inclined, let us know and we will make sure that ไทย will for you. Either way, if you have any questions, let me know at my talk page.
