Hi my name is Mike Fleming and I am an small business owner in Ireland. I have an interest in renewable energy creation, development and sales. My background is within the construction industry and engineering. I have a number of web based companies offering a range of services in diverse sectors.
My first company and website: [1] Conspect is a company name taken from the Latin 'Conspectus' which roughly translates as : a brief survey of a subject. This company offers building and property inspections, engineering reports and surveys. It also has some basic details on renewable energy systems for the home market. I see the future in renewable energy creation - Solar (Thermal & PV) Heat pumps ( air and ground source ) off grid electrical creation and use - insulation products and better energy management.
I fully believe in open source information and technology - I have trained in SEO and digital marketing to enable the promotion of my companies and hopefully to trial and develop some renewable energy systems (on a small scale at my own place) and on a low budget. Open source cooperation and digital marketing & networking on LinkedIn and facebook etc. with free server systems such a Google docs etc. & gmail should enable like minded people to engage and assist each other to bring new technology to a stage where it can be used by developing countries for off grid power solutions and also so called 1st world countries to begin to change their reliance on oil, gas and coal for the creation of energy and heat.
