My name is Mikayla and I'm an undergraduate Environmental Resources Engineering student at Cal Poly Humboldt. I'm interested in urban planning, electricity generation and distribution, wetland ecology, aqua scaping and sustainable living. I have worked a wide variety of jobs as a receptionist, coffee roaster, math tutor and at a non-profit testing ocean water for coliforms. In engineering school, I have worked on A semester project testing water from a local creek and evaluating if its a suitable habitat for wildlife. Currently I am enrolled in Engineering 205, Intro to design. I'm passionate about using technology and knowledge to create projects with sustainability in mind.
