Hello I'm Matthew Gorella and I'm a student at Cal Poly Humboldt. I'm a Junior and particapate in football at the school. I'm orignally from Fresno where I was born and raised and went to Junior College at Fresno City College. I love playing and watching sports and I look forward to finding out ways I can help the environment.
Interests in Technology and the Environment[edit | edit source]
- In Fresno I lived on a 40 acre ranch where my family farmed raisins. Being from the Central Valley agriculture is a major part of life so the enviornment is important to me.
- I'm interested in new technologies in the works that I will most likely need to know how to use in the future.
- I want to see what us humans can create that will not harm the environment, but be just as efficent as something we use now that does such as motor vehicles.
Experience in Technology and/or the Environment[edit | edit source]
- Working on my family farm in the central valley and depending on certain weather in order to have a successfull crop
- I've riden in hybrid motor vehicles that are used to save the enviorment from fuel emissions.
- I use florescent light bulbs and other such things that are simple and easy to do, but that also reduce my carbon footprint.
