 My name is Justin Rock and I am a junior at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Currently, I am concentrating my studies on molecular biology and chemistry while seeking minors in nanotechnology and honors (as well as a writing endorsement). Upon the completion of my B.S. degrees, I will most likely pursue a PhD in molecular genetics with aspirations of joining the forefront of research involving somatic gene modification. Accordingly, I will be endeavoring to further develop our knowledge of nano-devices which may aid in the identification, targeting, and repair of genetic defects of the human genome in support of the sustainment of life. As my exploration into the current progress of nanotechnology is still in its infancy, I must verse myself in the current literature and learn techniques afforded to me via my excursions course before I find a definite direction.
