Cassidy Barrientos
Fellow Appropedia Users, my name is Cassidy Barrientos and I am a junior at Humboldt State University pursuing a degree in Environmental Science with an emphasis in Energy and Climate Change. Humboldt County is one of my favorite places to date, and I am very thankful for such a diverse and unique platform to continue my education in the field.

Experience in Appropriate Technology[edit]

  • I first encountered bionintensive gardening when working with an international NGO that worked to promote non-conventional and self-sufficient agriculture in rural communities internally and abroad.
  • When I lived in Sacramento I used to volunteer for the Sacramento Tree Foundation planting trees.
  • I like making terrariums.
