I just graduated from the Thurston County Solid Waste Department's -> Master Recycler and Composter Program!! WHOOO!!! Its just the beginning of discovering a whole new/old world for me. More to come as the adventure unfolds.
I bit about me, I work for a Tribe where I was instrumental in creating a new Solid Waste and Recycling Program. We just adopted the new Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan (funded by EPA) and are updating our tribal codes to uphold sustainable practices. This is important to our culture as People of the Water here in the heart of the Salish Sea.
I'm a mother and landowner interested in permaculture and sustainable tech. I do my best to show my children to live life in a good way, honoring self and the divine connection in all things. I have a dual degree from TESC in Native Environmental Science and Cultural Studies, and over 22 years experience working with environmental and tribal groups.
