Annabel Fjord Mittelstadt

I am a fourth year student attending Cal Poly Humboldt, studying Environmental Studies: Appropriate Technologies, with a minor in Studio Art. Throughout my life I have been very influenced and inspired with art, traveling, and nature as well as the simplicity and well-rounded-ness of homemade, handmade, and hand-built things.

- Sustainable gardening and farming practices

- Sustainable and environmental friendly lifestyle - such as sewing, mending, beekeeping, and home cooked/preserved foods

- I have seasonally volunteered and worked on crew at Redwood Roots Farm in Bayside, CA which is a Community Supported Ag, for 3.5 years

- I have volunteered at and attended classes at Humboldt State's Campus Center for Appropriate Technologies

- I have dabbled in backyard beekeeping
