Check assumption[edit source]
You stated "However, the distilled water is not drinkable yet since the water may still contain some pathogenic microorganisms". Double check this -- as distillation would entail evaporating the water it is normally considered safe to drink -- e.g. distillation is superior to pasteurization. If you can not find a reference to back up your assertion then I recommend altering the project slightly to compare the distillation step and the pasteurization steps in terms of water output per unit area of collector. --00:55, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

PVC[edit source]
PVC? But I thought that was toxic... Why are you recommending PVC plumbing, and is there an alternative? Was PVC tested for safety the way PET was? I always thought PVC was crawling with toxins.
