A clothesline could be even more sterile than a drying machine. UV light can destroy things that plain heat couldn't. Also, if a dryer were to be contaminated perhaps that contamination would travel from batch to batch of scrubs. I do see that passers by and dust and pollution could easily get to hanging wet clothes thou. -SeanCi
