Figure 2 from Bakhshi SK et al. (2022), "Development, outcome and costs of a simulation-based neurosurgery bootcamp at the national level", BMC Medical Education 22:896. The in-house-built spine surgery simulator: Part A the foam-and-rexine book-fold block with saw-bone spine models; Part B the opening widened with lumbar retractors, exposing the saw-bone spine; Part C microscope views before and after laminectomy, with a latex-glove dura on a 5 cc syringe.
