Anthony Dwyer, MS, AHFP

As the Vice President of Medical Technology and Innovation for Operation Smile, I am responsible for the development the Operation Smile Online Global University: an online education platform that will be coupled alongside existing training programs in-country to support blended learning and innovative educational solutions. Additionally, I support the selection, creation, and testing of technology needed to create a global electronic health record for patient medical data.  Further, fostering the facilitation of comprehensive and follow-up care for patients by supporting data and analytics requirements for medical oversight and quality, while providing insights to programs and operations teams for continuous improvement of programmatic activities. Finally, I assist in facilitating an existing partnership with Microsoft's AI for Good Campaign that aims to create artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms that determine quality of surgical results globally.
