Proposal to merge this page into OpenStreetMap page[edit source]
Hi there - I created the page OpenStreetMap on Appropedia a few months back, without knowing this one existed.
I propose to merge the content in this page into that OpenStreetMap page.
My rationale of why 'OpenStreetMap' is the better name:-
- On openstreetmap.org the project always refers to itself as 'OpenStreetMap';
- To retain consistency with wikipedia:OpenStreetMap.

- I agree – thanks for spotting this and offering to fix it.
- I suggest first merging into the older article, then moving that article to the more correct name (I can do that – it needs admin privileges). Minor issue, but it means that the edit history is conserved and we can see who added what, including you and the previous editors. -- Chriswaterguy (talk) 22:56, 30 January 2014 (PST)
