The folks at Green Trust power their facility with a combination of wind and photovoltaic (solar panels).
Their photovoltaic system consists of 270 watts of panels in a 24 volt configuration, connected to a Solar Boost 50 MPPT charge controller, that charges a 2 x 2 matrix (2 in series in each of 2 parallel legs) of Trojan L16HC batteries.
