Semi-Permanent Stake

Abstract

  1. This Stake has been designed to serve as a semi-permanent connection between earth and man made shelter. current stakes work well but do not take much to kick out of the ground. this can be annoying and dangerous. My design creates an inexpensive alternative to classic stakes. My design creates a better hold and can be made in less than two hours!

Bill of Materials

  1. ) 36 grams of PLA Filament roughly $0.90
  2. ) 1 Phillips wood screw - #6 x 3/4" Roughly $0.04

Instructions

  1. Line the two parts up as shown in the image below, the flat edge facing down.
  2. Insert the Stake Prong inside the Stake base and line up the holes.
  3. insert screw

  2. The closest item on the market is the spiral locking stake which is roughly $1.50 but this item does not function as well as this design.
