I am a graduate student currently pursuing my MS in electrical engineering at Tuskegee University, Alabama. I am from Bangladesh, a developing country in need of clean energy resources to meet the ever-increasing demand and also for environmental safety. Solar power being the only viable solution, it is yet to be deployed in a large scale owing to lack of local technical expertise in this industry. I am passionate about research in this sector to contribute fundamentally from the device level engineering to increase the efficiency of solar cells. I would like to focus my research on developing advanced material for next generation solar cell and to use nano fabrication techniques to increase the conversion efficiency of solar cell. My graduate study has provided me with the background in material growth, use of plasmonic nano-structures and characterization techniques which will be conducive for me to carry on my research in solar photovoltaic.
