Name: Erin Haugen I am currently pursuing my biology degree from Humboldt State University with an emphasis in ecology. I love finding new excuses to travel the world and see different ways of life.
Interests in Technology and the Environment
- Biomimicry
- Green fuels (algae specifically)
- Teaching sustainability in a non confrontational integrated way.
Experience in Technology and/or the Environment
- I've done small scale restoration work in San Fransico, New Orleans and Fort Portal, Uganda.
- I made my own compost bin (though it's a work in progress).
- I make my technology last as long as possible to cut down on useless waste.
