Manufacturing refers to the making of goods or wares using either manual labor or machinery, or a combination of both, and this on a large scale.[1]
Types of manufacturing[edit | edit source]
2 main types of manufacturing can be distinguished:
- additive manufacturing (ie using 3D printers)
- subtractive manufacturing (ie using moulds, welding/cutting stations, angle grinders, ...)
