First assignment: OpenScad project[edit]

Here is the OpenScad project: it builds a rhombic-dodecahedron that will tessellate the 3D space. It also has the option to incorporate a cubic tessellation (the rhombic-dodec inscribes the cube) and one can print the centers and the connection between the centers (to understand connectivity).

The figure is parameterizable with the base parameter being the side of the cube (that is used to build the rhombic dodecahedron and its metal jack).

Parts are done such that more and more rhombic dodecs are added and you can tessellate your entire room!

The print failed due to small connection parts. Scale the parts in order to have a printable object.
