What I have learned?
Throughout the lesson I learned so many things especially about technology and how it will affect us in our daily lives. I learned that everything that we using right now are invented empowered by technology it became part of us and right now it was so useful in the society that it can actually make things easier without time consuming. The ICT definition itself I finally know what it is and have a wider view about it. Aside from that I especially enjoy and learned about type fast typing. I didn’t know that there are specific parts of our fingers that should type the assigned icons in the keyboards and letters or anything in order for you to get fast in typing. It was very challenging especially when it is applied in activities that we've done before because it really tests your speed in typing and it actually can be useful in real life situations especially when you're writing something and for occupation purposes. In continuation, I almost forgot about the history of the internet it was mesmerizing that we people can actually make a web and with further studies of it and skills in coding we can't publish a website that can help many people or citizens around the world. I also realized that in the past times there are applications that level up and until now it is used by many people and they are other applications that doesn’t have much used. But nowadays we are more advanced and expose to technology which can further help us in the future yet despite of the advantages of the technology there's also disadvantages. And this disadvantages we should be more responsible and cautious enough to not let it happen again otherwise it may harm the other citizens that uses internet or technology. Bullying is also one of the biggest issue that can be found in internet now which is called the cyberbullying so if ever we encounter this situation we shouldn't let it pass even though you are only using technology or didn't do anything physical harm to other people you can be in jail because it can affect the people’s mental health and might get worse.
Furthermore, i also learned about how to apply a hyperlink in order to open another file or proceed into the slide you want. Me and the other groupmates also did the same thing and as a proof that with actually made a hyperlink represented to the class and then we proceed to the presentation that eventually made it in the right time to discuss little things about our lessons in different subjects. Another memorable thing that i have learned is by editing in the app called canva. Like i didn't know that the canva app can be an also an editing app because i really thought it was only for educational purposes like making presentations and letters editing visual aids that canva provide but i didn't know it can also edit on video which served as our activity together with my groupmates. And our journey to that activity so far is good and made it on time because our theme is motivational and has a cinematic style where we express our opinions about the bible verse that has given to us and of course as a Dominican student we should also share it as part of the bible sharing.
But what’s the most exciting part where i enjoy the most is when we go at the computer love and discuss about how the excel works and how to actually make one. I finally understand the different types of formulas that can be used in excel in order for us to not consume time if for example we are about to compute grades and anything that needs or requires computation. With excel it is much more easier and you can make shortcuts there if you are skilled enough and memorize the tools and its purposes that you needed it won’t be that hard for future purposes.
So far that's what I have learned and remember throughout our teachers discussion and I’m glad that his lessons still on my mind and I can apply it in real life situations and became part of my new unlock skills.
