Interests in Appropriate Technology[edit | edit source]
Currently, my interest in appropriate technology is in finding ways for third world countries to develop in a sustainable fashion. I think this is important as they grow because it will prevent them from running into the problems that developed countries are facing now such as exhausting resources, foreign dependence, pollution, and a myriad of other issues.
Experience in Appropriate Technology[edit | edit source]
My experience in appropriate technology is limited. I do have a small garden and have kept chickens. I have been exposed to many ideas, but have not undertaken a project of my own. I am very excited about the project I will be working on this semester because it is something that I know will make a difference in so many ways. I'm hoping this will just be the start of my hands on experience.
