What I have learned?
In Empowerment Technology, I have learned about ICT. ICT stands for Information and Communication Technology. It is a variety of of technologies that facilitate communications. It is often used to describe the convergence of several technologies and use of common transmission lives and communication formats to transfer diverse data types.
I firmly believe that technology makes our lives easier. It can helps us a lot through different things. Especially with social media. Because of technology, social medias was created. It can help us a lot in our things such as messaging our love once especially researching in the internet. And because of these we can communicate faster through messenger, instagram, tweeter and also ofcourse in Facebook lite and so many more social medias. It can also have a lot benefit to us specially students. We can learn a lot through internet and search what we are curious about like in google. But not what we find out in the internet states fact so we should be wise on learning with these.There are a lot of benefits of technology to us but make sure we used it with discipline and moderation.
We also have discussed about the Online Safety, Security, Ethics, and Etiquette. We should know more about Ethics and Etiquette so that we may aware of what we should do especially in posting through internet. It involves the Cyber Citizen, Sexting and Cyberbullying. Ethics are defined as a set of moral principles or values, such as; Intention, Conscience, absolute, and spiritual. Etiquette is defined as the conduct or procedure required or prescribed by authority to be observed in official life, such as manner, formality, relative, outer or physically. These are important for us to base especially when posting through social medias for us to know and to be aware the right manners. We should not post or comment what so ever like nonsense words and hate comments in social media because sometimes it can affect other people. We should just have a discipline and respect for our selves so that we can avoid Cyberbullying.
Next is Online Gaming. An Online Gaming provides the opportunity to play games from a computer or another devices that cheat program is mostly use for cheating in computer games and is sometimes modified and combined support new games. An Instant Messaging allows users to correspond online with others in real time. Social Networking sites also provides a social atmosphere by allowing users to share personal information.
That was the parts of Safety and Security.
I have also learned about doing our excel activity. For summing up the numbers through my excel and finding the total of the given numbers. Also our typing skills. We have practice fast typing and learned a lot part of Microsoft.
