- I am a 25 year old art student. I am of Island descent which is why I want to learn about bamboo. I am currently in O'ahu learning about everything.
Interests in Appropriate Technology[edit | edit source]
- I am interested in learning how to live sustainably, particularly when it comes to growing plants on the earth. I think this is really important and also I think I can understand this better than microhydro and solar power, which involves math.
- It's evident that our affluent culture is not working, is impractical, unsustainable, and just plain stupid. But obviously, being human, I do not know everything and can probably get a great deal of knowledge out of this class.
- Although I have problems with math, I am hoping my skills will get better because I'd like to know how electricity works.

- I am a ceramicist.
- I worked in the Trinity Mountains helping to build a papercrete house.
- I can sew and cook and clean with natural products. I try to buy organic. I'm broke. I'm sure this counts.
