Is there a way to flag this page as potentially unsafe? Brakes are one of the most safety-critical parts of a bike, and a plastic brake could fail as soon as the rider attempts to stop quickly. This makes a 3D printed brake considerably worse than no brake at all because it gives a false sense of security.

I appreciate it's a student project and was perhaps just an academic exercise that was never intended to be used, or perhaps was printed in a much stronger material than my printer's capable of. Nonetheless, I think the current small disclaimer that it's not been tested does not adequately convey the level of danger anyone using this design would be putting themself in.
