Parts:

  • A: wood
  • B: fire
  • C: air inlet (air going to 4 nozzles)

  • D1: top grating (movable)
  • D2: lower grating (not movable)
  • D3: handle: used to stirr up the wood to provide evenly high temperature over top grating
  • E: smoke
  • F: single-cyclone seperator (coarse filter)
  • G: partially filtered smoke
  • H: radiator (reduces heat of gas and hence condenses the gas, making it more flammable/potent)
  • I: cooled, partially filtered smoke
  • J: fine filter (consisting of clay balls untop of a grating)
  • K: wood gas (= fully filtered, cooled smoke)
