English: Aerial shot of the agrivoltaics pilot plant by Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE) located at Heggelbach farming community in the south of Germany.
The 194.4 kW(p) solar plant was established in 2015/16 to monitor quality and yields of a number of different agricultural crops grown underneath the solar modules. Solar modules are mounted 5 - 8 metres above ground with supports spaced in ways that allow the operation of normal farm machines.
Deutsch: Luftaufnahme der Agrivoltaik (auch Agri-Photovoltaik bzw Agrophotovoltaik) Versuchsanlage des Fraunhofer Instituts für Solare Energiesysteme (ISE) auf einem Acker der Hofgemeinschaft Heggelbach in Baden-Württemberg.
Die 194,4 kW(p) Anlage ist seit 2016 im Betrieb. Im Rahmen der wissenschaftlichen Betreuung wird u.a. untersucht, wie sich die Anlage auf Ertrag und Qualität der darunter produzierten Kulturen auswirkt. Die PV-Module befinden sich 5 - 8m über dem Boden, die Säulen der Unterkonstruktion sind so angeordnet, dass Zugang für landwirtschaftliche Maschinen gewährleistet ist. |
