The Central Rocky Mountain Permaculture Institute (CRMPI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization that offers courses and workshops on permaculture, sustainability, and greenhouse design and management.

Jerome Osentowski founded CRMPI in 1987. CRMPI is located in Basalt, Colorado and in the Rocky Mountains at 7,200' altitude. The institute offers mature forest gardens and greenhouses. CRMPI's greenhouses utilize a Passive solar design and Earth tubes making them capable of maintaining tropical and mediterranean climates and growing a wide variety of crops throughout the entire year.[1]
