Set up bookmarklet in your browser - then you can highlight text on a web page, click a button on your bookmarks toolbar, and perform a search for that term on Appropedia. Also works for other sites.

[edit] Default search - ideas for development
Currently we use the standard MediaWiki search. The newest version of Wikipedia has an improved search with suggestions. We could add other engine options such as Google, the way Wikipedia now does, on the search page.
Also see how search results are displayed by the US National Library of Medicine search, e.g. this search for for "public-health". It looks like they use Google, but the results are displayed within the National Library of Medicine's own site.
