AutoWikiBrowser is a tool for performing repetitive tasks on a wiki. It's homepage is Wikipedia:Project:AutoWikiBrowser. It only works in Windows.

It is designed for Wikipedia and there are frequent requests on the talk page (at Wikipedia) to be able to turn Wikipedia-specific features off.

A version is available which uses PyWikipedia, and is suitable for Linux (or Windows, presumably - PyWikipedia is cross-platform as long as Python is installed.[verification needed]) This is PyAutoWikiBrowser, and is marked "Pre-Alpha", i.e. very experimental.
