AT CAD Team

The Appropriate technology Computer-Assisted Design Team or AT CAD Team is a team set-up to create 3D-models for appropriate technology designs. The project relies on experienced 3D modellers from AOC4Studio (see http://aoc4.blogspot.com/) and is done in collaboration with Appropedia. The models made are downloadable in .skp and .dae for a small sum by contacting AOC4Studio.

- AT Interstate Traveller; a vehicle more easy to implement than the freight tram, atleast in certain cities. This as the IT uses its own lane, and is thus doesn't clog the streets.

- AT solar power tower; a new design for a solar power tower. The design is dubbed the "Solar pyramid in pit". Unlike regular solar towers, the pyramid is build (slightly beneath) ground level. Dwellings with a heliostat mounted at the roof will focus the solar rays into the "pit". The solar pyramid in pit can then direct steam to either a reciprocating steam engine or bladed rotor steam engine ("steam turbine").
