The project currently offers code for working with transit data in the Java and Python languages.\n\nIt contains a series of sub-tools, including:\n\n* [https://github.com/google/transitfeed/wiki/ScheduleViewer ScheduleViewer]:- a nice mini web-application that when run on a local GTFS feed, allows users to explore interactively and validate the data (see screenshot);\n* [https://github.com/google/transitfeed/wiki/FeedValidator FeedValidator]:- a helpful tool to run a series of automatic validation checks on a dataset, and generate a report. This is important for fixing errors in feeds.\n\n== See also ==\n\n* [[General Transit Feed Specification]]\n* [[Open Source Transport Informatics tools]]\n* [[OSSTIP/Project blog#Learning about GTFS.2C and relevant tools like TransitFeed]]\n\n== External Links ==\n\n* Project homepage: https://github.com/google/transitfeed\n** (Formerly http://code.google.com/p/googletransitdatafeed/, may be some archival interest info there).\n* Mailing list: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/googletransitdatafeed\n\n{{Page data\n| license = CC-BY-SA-3.0\n| description = TransitFeed helps cities manage public transport data.
