Recyclebot can be a showcase example for OSAT - Open Source Appropriate Technology. It uses waste plastic from water bottles, soda bottles, Milk cans, etc., to turn into filament for 3D printers. This filament is comparable to the commercially available filament. With enough research, in the near future, it could perform equally and even exceed the performance of the commercially available filaments. This cooling mechanism that I designed is an upgrade to the existing design. The Recyclebot by MOST research group at Michigan Tech has modular design which gives flexibility to upgrade, improve or modify individual modules and make them better. This helped me modify the design."],"Page image":["File:Printedusingmyprinter.jpeg"],"Page is part of":["MSE4777"],"Page keywords":["retractive cooling","Cooling","osat","How tos","Recyclebot","OSAT 3D-Printable Designs"],"Page language":["en"],"Page license":["CC-BY-SA-3.0"],"Page title":["Retractive Cooling for recyclebot"],"Page views":[215],"Page year":["Monday, 01-Jan-18 00:00:00 UTC"],"Project authors":["User:Sasank Potluri"],"Project coordinates":["43.621194444444, -84.682433333333"],"Project location":["Michigan, USA"],"Project status":["Designed","Prototyped"],"Project thumb":["https://www.appropedia.org/w/images/thumb/7/73/Printedusingmyprinter.jpeg/330px-Printedusingmyprinter.jpeg"],"Modification date":["Friday, 28-Nov-25 02:06:23 UTC"]}
