This project targets aerodynamic and flight principles, displaying the effects of wind on a wing and how different angles of attack affect the airflow. Team Nacho Average Engineers were introduced to this project on February 12, 2025. Ever since, we have been dedicated to ensuring a complete and interactive project for younger generations, to inspire and gain their interest in STEM. Through many weeks of research, designing, prototyping, and fabricating, we concluded the Wind Tunnel project on May 15, 2025. The Wind Tunnel consists of a Rectangular chamber where the simulation occurs, a Lasko Box Fan that has been choked down to increase airspeed, as well as a Honeycomb filter to benefit the laminar airflow.","Page image":"File:Wind Tunnel Final Design.png","Page is part of":"Category:Engr205 Introduction to Design","Page keywords":"test, keywords","Page language":"en","Page title":"Cosmos in the Stacks wind tunnel","Page views":"62","Page year":"Wednesday, 01-Jan-25 00:00:00 UTC, Thursday, 01-Jan-26 00:00:00 UTC","Project authors":"Nomar Urena, Jonah Orndorff, User:Hector Maldonado","Project coordinates":"40.876475, -124.08005555556","Project cost":"187.06","Project location":"Cal Poly Humboldt, Arcata, California, United States","Project status":"Deployed","Project thumb":"https://www.appropedia.org/w/images/thumb/6/68/Wind_Tunnel_Final_Design.png/330px-Wind_Tunnel_Final_Design.png","Project uses":"Education, Science, Inspiration, Interactivity","Project was made":"1","Project was replicated":"","Modification date":"Thursday, 03-Sep-26 12:54:57 UTC"}
