This is for my GrowBot project for senior design. The length is customizable and a wire can fit in the channel and be fastened with a small zip tie in the slot half way down the shaft. The holes can also be fastened together with a zip tie. The fit should be stiff so that you can adjust the angles and they will stay put. This project will help hold a wire that has an inductor on the end to sense a frequency induced wire that is burried under ground. It will be attached to the frame of the robot on the front and can be folded up when not in use.

This protoype is printed in PLA and has 20% infill. The print time depends on the length that you choose. The minimum length of 4 cm took about 15 minutes and the ends together took about 20 minutes. For assembly, use regular sized zip ties (white) to connect the different holders. Use small zip ties (dark green) to fasten the wire into the slot. Make sure when fastening in the wire that it has enough slack and doesn't pull on it when bending the parts.

Abstract

This is for my GrowBot project for senior design. The length is customizable and a wire can fit in the channel and be fastened with a small zip tie in the slot half way down the shaft. The holes can also be fastened together with a zip tie. The fit should be stiff so that you can adjust the angles and they will stay put. This project will help hold a wire that has an inductor on the end to sense a frequency induced wire that is burried under ground. It will be attached to the frame of the robot on the front and can be folded up when not in use.
