A wheelbarrow is a manual tool used for convenient carriage of heavier and bulkier loads than would be possible were the weight carried entirely by the operator.[1] It is a second-class lever. 2 main types can be designed, the first being a type in which the handles are directly connected to the axle bearing the wheel, and a second type in which the axle bearing the wheel is below (and in the center of) the carrying compartment. The second type is more common, yet far more difficult to produce.
