Welcome to Appropedia Template:Highlighted project

Appropedia is a living library of appropriate technology, replete with textbook style topics and how-to style projects. Feel free to contribute or just browse. If you contribute, please consider creating a login.

Browsing

There are several ways to browse. You can:

• Use the search box at left,
• Browse the category tree (i.e. starting at the broadest category),
• Browse all categories, or
• Browse all articles.

Editors and Creators Getting Started

• See the Ruleset for the overarching guidelines of Appropedia.
• Click the help button in the navigation box to the left.
• See these Editing help contents from wikipedia, especially those on editing.
  • See MediaWiki FAQ for much greater detail.

Project Creators Getting Started

To start:

• Type your project name in the search field to the left.
  • Please make sure to use a unique name, such as Location or Organization followed by project descripton in lower case, e.g. AEF greywater.
• Click Go.
• If there is no page titled with your project name. You can create this page, by clicking page under search results.

Topic Creators Getting Started

Please only create a topic if you have a fair amount of expertise in the topic area.

• List of Topics: This is a list of topics expected to serve the purpose of public education and discourse. At this point it's more of a nascent list of hopeful Topics.
