So many organizations are doing great projects around the world build rich, sustainable lives. Wouldn't it be great if we could gather all the savvy, wisdom and success (as well as pitfalls, wrong turns and dead ends) that these groups have accumulated, so that all can benefit? But these groups have very limited resources. What to do? Our answer, and the topic of Appropedia's inaugural Initiative, is The Appropedia Travel Internship Program. Our first Travel Intern, Isabell (Liz) Kimbrough is prototyping the program in Latin America as you read these words, and still has some room in her itinerary to visit great projects and write them up. Learn more on the blog post and the Initiative launch page. Let us know about worthy organizations and projects for Isabell or a future Travel Intern. Maybe you could be one of them?
