Image permissions
Hi Woopwoop,
I've noticed how much work you've been doing here, and I'm looking forward to seeing the pages when they're ready.
We need to clarify permissions for images here on Appropedia. I see that your uploaded images don't have two bits of essential info:
- License info (selected from a drop-down under the summary, when uploading - e.g. Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0)
- Source info (e.g. "I took this" or "from (this link) under the XYZ license" )
Note that we have to have this info for every image on Appropedia, and can't allow images without clear permissions.
If you could try that for your next images, and let me know if anything is confusing, that would be really appreciated.
(Later we can look at your existing images - I can lend a hand with my bot to mass edit those pages, but I need to be certain of the source/license first.)

Templates to help format Easy to make fertilizer tea
Hi Woopwoop,
I noticed you've been busy showing lots of how-to projects, like Easy to make fertilizer tea. It looks like lots of great work going on there! :-)
One thing I like to do at Appropedia is help figure out how to format lots of complex of information, especially with pictures. So...I made a copy of the page (already out of date ;) and added a few templates to see how it would look formatted with them. The templates are ({{How to}} {{Multicol}} and {{Gallery}}.
You can see a reformatted version of the fertilizer tea page at my sandbox. If you're interested in using something like this, there are lots of ways we could proceed. You could just copy this over to the live page and edit it from there, practice editing the sandbox to see how things could look, or edit the live page and have me follow your lead in the sanbox.
However you want to use these templates, or not, is fine with me. If you try them and like them, I'm also willing to help out with other pages until you get the hang of it to just do it yourself. ;-) Regards, RichardF 09:39, 30 November 2011 (PST)
