Logos[edit source]
Hola! I left a suggestion at Appropedia:Logos#New_Logo, for an experiment with simpler versions of your logo. I hope you don't mind my comments - it's obviously a very subjective thing. I like the idea of the windmill in the logo, and now that I can see it, it's a nice windmill, and I'm wondering how it would look if there were less other things.
I think I'm maybe one of these people that notices detail and so can miss the overall picture. But I'm also not the only one like this, and simpler might be helpful in creating a first impression. Second logo[edit source]
Hey Tressie, I've seen the work you done on the Appropedia logo's. Having had a new idea regarding this topic, I thought you may be intrested in the suggestion I made at the village pump page. The new image would be used mainly to focus on less-ordinary/more sustainable designs/technology (eg using domes/zomes rather than dwellings, using CSP, ...) Also, I was guessing that the logo could reflect the more "worldwide" view of appropedia (eg the dome drawn could be eg made somewhat resembling Arabian architecture; eg I was thinking about a style resembling the Hagia Sophia; where the windturbine or CSP functions as the "pillars"; eg so as not to come too close to only the Arabian style and keep it generic; fusion-like in appearance, rather then reflecting a single style)

Hi, I'm one of the tech interns for the summer and I'm trying to create a smaller version of the logo for mobile sites. Any chance you have a high quality copy of the logo lying around for use with photoshop / gimp? --Tahnok 13:44, 10 June 2011 (PDT)
