Check your preferences and be sure you verify your email address and turn on email notification if you'd like it -- you can find out when your talk page, or any page on your watchlist, is modified. You may want to upload a photo or information about yourself to your userpage (which is at User:Tahnok).
If you have a particular interest or project in mind, go ahead and start it! If you have questions or suggestions, the best place to leave them is at our community discussion page, which we call the Village pump - you should get a fast response. Internships and volunteering
Would be great to have you on board... a very quick intro to our "to-dos" before I hit the sack:
- Our old PM system - a lot of tasks are still on that system, but our new system is at...
- BetterMeans.
The main priority for me right now is getting a Simple:Press forum set up on our blog, if possible within a week (starting on our dev blog). I'd really like to get cross-login working, using the wiki's user database for logging into the WordPress site (probably with a hidden OpenID backend).
If anything there grabs your attention, it would be great to have your input. Thanks for getting in touch!

I'd love to help out with the OpenID login thing. I've done a bit of research on it because of a research position I had last summer, but I didn't actually get "dirty" with any implementation. - I'd like to index Appropedia's to-do pages as part of indexing the whole site. That might make it easier to determine priorities and help people find where to jump in. At the moment I'm porting a bunch of templates from Wikipedia. See:

Tech intern program
Hi Tahnok,
Quick update: I've set up a Appropedia:Tech Interns, mid-2011. The talk page can be a place to ask for help or suggestions, or just throw around ideas. There are a few people interested in being available to help out, and I'll get them to watch the page, and we'll get some other tech projects happening as well. Munimortal is working on a partner-specific banner for the site.
After talking with Lonny about the kinds of work that interns normally start on, and I made up a modified "tour" idea at Appropedia:Tech Interns, mid-2011/Tour. Some of that you'll have already done (like creating a topic page). The idea is to introduce you to some of the workings of Appropedia, and give you plenty of time to get into a specific project. --Chriswaterguy 23:17, 28 April 2011 (PDT)
