I see [[Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Attrib_pd]] - [[Harnessing Solar Power (USAID in Africa - Success Stories)]], [[Solar Cookers, Efficient Stoves Help Rural Families Worldwide]], and [[Drip Irrigation Turns Gravel into Green]] would be appropriate on English Wikisource, however German Wikisource would probably baulk at [[Tropfbewässerung hilft den Bauern, Geld zu sparen]], as they dont like works that are not accompanied by a scan of the hardcopy.
The source of [[Green chemistry]] would be appropriate on English Wikisource, and the press release on [[Earthquake proofing for buildings]] would also be suitable; these are good examples of where Wikisource would host the entire work, and Appropedia would only utilise a digest version of it.
[[UN Commission on Sustainable Development “Energy Cycle” (2005-2007)]] contains many state.gov resources which could be archived on Wikisource; the UN documents are not always PD, but usually are.
in re [[Volatile Organic Compounds]], it looks like it is part of a published booklet, in which case the entire booklet would be suitable for Wikisource.
[[Cambridge Cohousing]] and other parts of this database would not be suitable on Wikisource, as it is a growing resource, and Wikisource doesnt like works which are not completed.
I think [[Three Acres and Liberty]] would be a good place for us to start interproject collaboration.

We don't have the wikisource: interwiki link prefix

We also don't have the wikiquote: interwiki link prefix. But we have wiktionary: and commons:. See Interwiki map (which really should be Appropedia:Interwiki map). I'd like to have w: in addition to the verbose wikipedia:. I'm trying to make this site more hospitable for Wikimedia Foundation project wiki expatriates. It's a process. See my tasks page. --Teratornis 17:09, 22 February 2011 (PST)

Hi, I've left a note on the interwiki map page. After meeting up with Chris at wikiversity:University of Canberra/RCC2011, my involvement here will initially be focused on building links between the Appropedia and English Wikisource projects, so I would love it if s: and wikisource: could point there. Jayvdb 17:32, 22 February 2011 (PST) I'm also keen on Appropedia and Wikimedia Australia collaborating together, so a 'wmau' interwiki would be handy. Jayvdb 17:34, 22 February 2011 (PST)
I've added all those - thanks for the suggestions. I've pinged Lonny and Jason about running the update script.
Teratornis, agreed it should be Appropedia:Interwiki map, but I assume the link is in the update script somewhere... best to move in a single jump to the nice extension suggested by John at Talk:Interwiki map #SpecialInterwiki.

Thanks for the welcome.
I did tell my mum about Appropedia, but her internet has been useless since everything went pear shaped during the Toowoomba floods. Jayvdb 03:33, 28 February 2011 (PST)

public domain search

We talked about migrating/replicating the public domain source list/search to Wikisource. How do we go about doing this? Jayvdb 03:33, 28 February 2011 (PST)

Wikisource texts

I see Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Attrib_pd - Harnessing Solar Power (USAID in Africa - Success Stories), Solar Cookers, Efficient Stoves Help Rural Families Worldwide, and Drip Irrigation Turns Gravel into Green would be appropriate on English Wikisource, however German Wikisource would probably baulk at Tropfbewässerung hilft den Bauern, Geld zu sparen, as they dont like works that are not accompanied by a scan of the hardcopy.

The source of Green chemistry would be appropriate on English Wikisource, and the press release on Earthquake proofing for buildings would also be suitable; these are good examples of where Wikisource would host the entire work, and Appropedia would only utilise a digest version of it.

UN Commission on Sustainable Development “Energy Cycle” (2005-2007) contains many state.gov resources which could be archived on Wikisource; the UN documents are not always PD, but usually are.

in re Volatile Organic Compounds, it looks like it is part of a published booklet, in which case the entire booklet would be suitable for Wikisource.

Cambridge Cohousing and other parts of this database would not be suitable on Wikisource, as it is a growing resource, and Wikisource doesnt like works which are not completed.

I think Three Acres and Liberty would be a good place for us to start interproject collaboration.
