About Me

Sara June
After much trail and error, I am an environmental studies major with an appropriate technology emphasis. I have learned in fields such as psychology and international studies. I work often to both merge and separate my academic interests with hobbies. In the past, I was blessed to be able to work and stay in communities in Peru, Belize, and Puerto Rico to build gardens, homes, and community. Here at HSU, I am a Campus Center for Appropriate Technology volunteer and facilitator of the green building class. I also work with the Waste Reduction Resource Awareness Program. I believe in small steps and dreams and continuously working toward being a better self.
