E-Tech: An overall

To be honest, the overall projects in our E-tech class in this semester were a compilation of positive outcomes for me. It was in this way because I like to work on the computer and I like doing write-ups. The projects mostly involved writing articles. Also, I enjoyed designing blogs, which were also involved a lot in these projects, wherein I got to enhance or indulge myself.

Through these projects, I was able to discover that there are many problems that are in need of our attention. Also, the project that was an interesting source of discovery for me was the search for advocacy project. Although I did not mingle that much with the people inside the advocacy group, I was still in awe that even though how cruel our world is now, there are still people who use their time for others, too. Also, I was in awe that you can make a lot with technology now, to the point that you can now extend your lending hand and help to those in need. It enables the people to be aware of the problems that the people of the world or even the world itself is experiencing and gather help from other people.

My most challenging moment is regarding my time management. As a typical student and a teenager, I get to procrastinate almost all the time. It was challenging for me to make myself work because I get attached by my laziness most of the time. Amidst this, my most powerful moment was when I got involved in an advocacy. Being a member of a certain advocacy group made think that even little things can make a great change, that I can help others in my own little way.

The most important thing I learned personally is how to prioritize things and remind myself of deadlines. To be honest, I always tend to forget about deadlines, remembering it at the last minute oftentimes. Because we got deadlines (like, almost every meeting because of our 4-hour long class), I get to enhance my remembering skills… a bit.

My ultimate problem was really time management and deadlines. I realized that I really tend to indulge and drown myself in too much social media, and always procrastinate. As the projects went on and on, I then taught myself to put the projects first. I sometimes challenge myself that I can’t use social media or phone without finishing the PT given first.

In relation to this, in our day today, many people are drowning in the problem of procrastinating. I think that my solution, prioritizing what is really needed to be finished and done first, can actually help people finish more jobs effectively and also sooner.

In regards to the team projects, I think that I have communicated with my groupmates well. Although, I know that I am lacking in terms of talking with them, may it be in personal means or online. But still, I think I still did a good job because we were able to finish those jobs well. I did fall short at times when I assign tasks and update them.
