I am a fourth year Mechanical Engineering graduating in May 2010. I am interested primarily in Renewable Energy Technologies and their deployment in the electricity generation industry. This past summer I was employed at the Queen's Applied Sustainability Group and co-wrote "Towards real energy economics: Energy policy driven by life-cycle carbon emission". I hope to continue learning about and contributing to the Renewable Energy industry after graduation.

Current Projects

I am currently working on designing and implementing a data acquisition system on an electric tractor. The goal of this project is to determine battery performance and interactions under a variety of conditions. This is the fourth phase of the electric vehicle project and the goal of the entire project is to learn about electric vehicles (via the tractor) and apply findings to the electric car market.

Current Courses
