About Me
- My name is Michael Ross
- Hi, I grew up in Truckee, Ca. In the mountains I developed a great appreciation for the natural beauty of the world. I am an Engineering student at Humboldt State University. In my pursuit of education I am always looking for a true challenge. I relish the moments in class where something really challenges my ability. I chose Environmental Engineering because it is a fundamental need for civilization to work. Environmental engineering closely aligns with my fascination with: nature, how things work, and math. My favorite subject is math, I really enjoy how concepts in math are so profound and so useful. I am a designer, the Earth is my canvas.
"Imagination is the factory that makes legends. It is the beginning of all achievement. To imagine is to perceive many potential futures, select the most delightful possibility, and then pull the present forward to meet it. Imagination has transported us from shivering in dark caves to triumphantly floating above our precious blue earth. It reminds us that reality is malleable and we are the architects of our own fate." - Imaginary Foundation
