About Me
My name is Laura Wallace, and I am an Environmental Resources Engineer in training at Humboldt State University. I am from Kentucky, and I am interested in the world.
Interests in Engineering
- Understanding and manipulating the mechanics that drive the physical world
- Designing solutions to practical problems

Experience in Engineering
- When I was a child I took things apart to see how they worked. Sometimes I could even put them back together again.
- I've done a lot of miscellaneous home improvement, and I often don't have the tools I need. I make things work, even if I have to MacGyver them.
- I love to make things, for practical or personal reasons. Sometimes I come up with a bizarre concept and have to find a way to make it work. For example, I started making these folding picture cubes: Magic Cube, only I didn't use an instruction manual, I figured it out.
