Appropriate Technology Interests
- Building with natural materials such as adobe, the implementation of technologies such as rain water collection, composting toilets and photovoltaics that will lessen the footprint of our houses on the earth.
- Biomimicry, observing the natural patterns of the earth and its ecosystems and designing our human activities to resemble such cradle-to-cradle processes.
Experencia en Tecnología Apropiada
- I cant claim any hands-on experiences with appropriate technology. I have studied many sustainable technologies in Engineering 115 at HSU, such as solar panels and studying sustainable structures and organic gardening at Potawot. I studied the benefits and disadvantages of corn ethanol and cellulosic ethanol.
- I also took a class in permaculture at CCAT.
- I did a study on implementing anaerobic digestion and methane collection on dairy farms in California.
