About Me
- Felicity Cross
- I am a Yurok tribal member born and raised in Blue Lake, Ca with strong roots in my culture and community. I am An Alumni of New Mexico Military Institute and The University of Hawaii where I started my education in Astrophysics. I currently attend Humboldt State University to earn my B.S in Environmental Engineering. I have traveled solo through both Europe and Central America in order to gain more immersive and cultural experiences. I especially enjoy visiting third world countries because I believe their is a lot to learn and gain from a less "busy" society. My hobbies include hiking, surfing, camping and taking my three dogs on adventures.
Interests in Engineering
Building Sustainable Homes and Businesses using Appropriate technology that include solar, thermal energy storage and composting toilets, Aquaponics Systems, Water Resource Management and Tribal Water Rights, and Bio-mimicry
