== Goals ==

I'm setting goals to stretch myself, so that I strategize how to reach them. Here are some of them. I chose the dates as something to aim for (no specific meaning - just x weeks or months from when I set the goal).
* <s>Find 3 more tech interns - 11 May 2011</s> Confirmed one more, for a total of 3. Decided that number of tech interns is good for now. Aim to have 3 or 4 at any one time? => One more for June 2011. 
* Make outline of a fundraising campaign - 15 June 2011
* Get some mainstream media coverage for Appropedia - 14 June 2011
* Find funding, including: $20,000 in sponsorship - 19 June 2011
* Find 3 [[a:corporate volunteering|corporate volunteers]] - 19 Aug 2011
* 1 million page views per month for Appropedia (up from ~0.5 million currently) - 19 Aug 2011

== Current projects ==

* Looking for funding - going through lists of potential funders for potential matches.
** Using Google Spreadsheets. Happy to share with anyone who's interested.

* How to raise our profile? (-> traffic and media)
** Identify controversial and current topics, & link from front page.

Use your own words, as we do not have permission to use the document's text.}}</nowiki> - adapt this, with [[Help:Notices]].)

* Request a way to "open" or remove an owner from the bot task.
* Identify data sets, and ways to use them. E.g. clean teach data at http://www.reegle.info/ & http://data.reegle.info/ - we can embed their open data/data sets in MediaWiki, Explore OKFN's database of data sets.

Bot tasks:
* Remove inappropriate redirects to userspace. "(?si)#redirect ?\[\[User:.*]]" -> create a list of pages to check and delete. (Redirects from names aren't a big problem. Redirects to pages that are unsuitable due to quality concerns are a problem.)
