I feel that these two diverse disciplines complement each other well and can be useful in promoting sustainable development. My technical interests include energy production and policy, international development, local technologies, biomimicry and green building design among others. I am also very interested in language and culture. My extra curricular experience has included work with Queen's Project on International Development, (QPID), a student run NGO which sends students on overseas projects each summer. On a more personal note, I enjoy a variety of hobbies including hockey, kiteboarding and outdoor sports.
